Subs are essential components used in drilling operations. Our comprehensive sub repair services are designed to restore subs to premium quality, ensuring their continued safe and efficient operation. Sub Inspection & Quality Assurance
Quality is at the core of everything we do. Our Sub & Tool Facility offers inspection services, including Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) inspection services for rotary tools used above and below the table. We provide inspection services with certified inspectors, ensuring that every sub meets the necessary operational standards.
Inventory Management & Tracking
We provide efficient inventory management for subs, handling all aspects from receiving to final storage. Each sub is documented upon arrival, including measurements, serial numbers, and specifications. We store this information in our inventory system, allowing us to track the movements of every sub—from the day we receive it, through any required repairs, to final delivery. Our inventory system ensures that customers always have real-time visibility into their equipment, whether it’s undergoing repairs or ready for deployment.
Equipment & Logistics
Our facility is equipped with heavy equipment, including cranes and forklifts, to efficiently maneuver goods and subs throughout our premises. Our shipping department is trained to safely and securely deliver subs to customer locations within Leduc, Nisku, and the surrounding areas, providing reliable and timely support to keep your operations running smoothly.
In Town & Field Inspection
Our inspections are performed either in town or in the field, using top-of-the-line equipment and software to meet the needs of our clients. All tool joint and tubular inspection services are carried out according to industry standards, such as API, DS-1, and various customer specifications.
Our Equipment
We use multifunction EMI drill pipe inspection systems, which are capable of detecting transverse defects, three-dimensional defects like pitting and holes, as well as monitoring true wall thickness using solid-state (hall effects) wall monitoring functions. This ensures that our inspections are accurate, thorough, and reliable.
